As a dishwasher at Mustard Seed Market and Cafe, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Dishwashing: Operating commercial dishwashing equipment to efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensuring that all items are thoroughly cleaned and ready for use by kitchen and service staff.
Handwashing: Hand washing dishes, pots, and pans as needed, paying close attention to stubborn food residues and grease to ensure thorough cleaning.
Sorting and Storing: Sorting and organizing clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated storage areas according to type and use. Ensuring that items are stored safely and are easily accessible for kitchen staff.
Cleaning: Assisting with general cleaning tasks in the kitchen and dishwashing area, including wiping down countertops, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash bins to maintain a sanitary and orderly work environment.
Support: Supporting kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, such as food preparation, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas.
Compliance: Adhering to all health and safety regulations and Mustard Seed Market and Cafe's sanitation procedures. Following proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic work environment.

As a bartender at Mustard Seed Market and Cafe, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our Highland Square guests in a casual dining environment. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, while upholding our commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
Greet customers warmly and interact with them in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Handle cash and process payments accurately, including operating a point-of-sale (POS) system.

Assortment Optimization:
