Streusel Topped Pumpkin Pie

Streusel Topped Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • Unbaked 9" pie crust
  • Filling:
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 ½ cups evaporated milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Streusel:
  • ¼ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, softened
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 425°F. In a large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; blend well. Pour into pie crust lined pan and bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F; continue baking for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine all streusel ingredients. Sprinkle streusel over pumpkin filling. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool, then enjoy.
