We’re all in on Akron Honey! As a matter of fact, we’re such big fans of the stuff that we’ve decided to make Akron Honey the star of our first Customer Recipe Contest!

Enhance your dishes with the rich, golden sweetness of honey. This natural delicacy, prized for its smooth texture and complex flavors, varies in color and taste depending on the blossoms visited by bees. How to Enter

CREATE IT: Using Akron Honey and other clean, natural, Mustard Seed products, to create an original recipe.

• All ingredients must be Mustard Seed products. A Mustard Seed product is defined as anything currently sold and purchased in our stores.
• Just be sure to tell us if and how you used them in your caption. (See “Caption It,” below.)
• You can interpret the theme however you like—get creative!

SNAP IT: Take an original photo of your creation.

• Only photos are eligible for consideration; video submissions will be disqualified.
• Photos cannot contain any added text overlay, graphics, or watermarks.
• Any garnishes pictured on or in the dish must be listed and will count as ingredients.
• Remember, Instagram is a visual medium, so lighting, focus, etc. are important.

CAPTION IT: You must include a complete list of ingredients, recipe instructions, and the contest hashtag—#MustardSeedHoneyContest —in your caption. Entries without ingredients and instructions in the caption will not be considered. An image of the written recipe will not count.

POST IT: Post your image and caption to your own Instagram account between Monday, June 16th at 9:00 a.m. ET and Sunday, June 29^th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. 

The Prizes – One winner will be selected by our panel to receive a $200 Mustard Seed gift card and an Akron Honey collection and have their recipe featured on the Mustard Seed website. Two runners-up will be selected to each receive a $50 Mustard Seed gift card Akron Honey collection.
