HOW TO ENTER
CREATE IT
SNAP IT
Using Akron Honey and other clean, natural, Mustard Seed products, to create an original recipe.
- All ingredients must be Mustard Seed products. A Mustard Seed product is defined as anything currently sold and purchased in our stores.
- Just be sure to tell us if and how you used them in your caption.
- You can interpret the theme however you like—get creative!
Take an original photo of your creation.
- Only photos eligible for consideration; video submissions will be disqualified.
- Photos cannot contain any added text overlay, graphics, or watermarks.
- Any garnishes pictured in or on the dish must be listed and will count as ingredients.
- Remember, Instagram is a visual medium, so lighting, focus, etc. are important.

POST IT
You must include a complete list of ingredients, recipe instructions, and the #MustardSeedHoneyContest contest hashtag in your caption. Entries without ingredients and instructions in the caption will not be considered. An image of the written recipe will not count.
Post your image and caption to your Instagram between Monday, June 16th at 9:00 a.m. ET and Sunday, June 29th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Please note, your Instagram account must be set to “public” to participate in this contest; if your account is set to “private,” we won’t be able to see your entry!
THE PRIZES
Grand Prize: a $200 Mustard Seed gift card, an Akron Honey collection and your recipe featured on the Mustard Seed website.
2 Runner-Ups Prize: a $50 Mustard Seed gift card and an Akron Honey collection.
All 3 winning entries will be featured on the @mustardseedmkt Instagram
account when contest results are announced.
JUDGING
A panel of super-official foodies will select one (1) winner and two (2) runner-ups from all eligible entries based on the following criteria:
Taste (60%) – Above all else, it’s gotta be delicious.
Photo (30%) – We’re looking for great composition, focus, lighting, etc. Your image should leave us dying to try your dish!
Creativity (10%) – Bonus points for originality, interesting ingredients, unexpected flavor combos, etc.

NOTIFICATION & ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Contest officially beings at 9:00 a.m. ET on Monday, June 16th, 2025. You may post your photo anytime between then and 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 29th, 2025. No entries posted after this date and time will be eligible.
One winner and two runner-ups will be announced publicly on Instagram on Monday, July 14th, 2025, via the @mustardseedmkt Instagram account and mustardseedmarket.com Winners will be notified prior to this public announcement via an Instagram Direct Message (DM) from@mustardseedmkt.
