This position is at our Montrose/Fairlawn location.
Assists in providing leadership in the Customer Service Department by directing and managing the associates and activities of the Customer Service Department. Ensures excellent customer service to stimulate the growth of the business. Responsibilities include maintaining proper internal controls for all customer financial transactions, managing the Customer Service Desk (refunds, exchanges, product questions, customer complaints, feedback, etc.) and receiving and handling incoming phone calls to the store.
Customer Service Representatives
Promotes team work, coaches, develops and trains department associates; minimizes turnover, promotes efficiency, and controls labor costs.
Delegates work assignments effectively.
Maintains accurate department records to ensure documentation of activities is available.
Receives and manages incoming phone calls to the store.
Assists customers with questions about our products, availability and location of them within the store.
Receives and forwards customer feedback (comment cards, complaints, suggestions, etc.) to the appropriate department and Store Manager.
Manages background music in store to ensure appropriate genre and volume.
Ensures front entrance areas and common public areas such as walk ways, vestibules, and rest rooms are maintained by appropriate personnel so they are clean, neat and safe.
Ensures sufficient quantity of grocery carts are available for customers; brings in grocery carts from parking lots as necessary.
Maintains proper internal controls for all customer financial transactions.
Responsible for the balancing and reconciliation of all Cashier tills.
Verifies and audits cash controls according to established procedures to identify and prevent cash losses.
Works in conjunction with departments on special orders for customers.
Works in conjunction with departments in replenishment and merchandising displays in Customer Service check stand area.
Notifies Scanning Department of all scanning issues and concerns.
Notifies Store Leadership of loss prevention issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Follows established protocol and guidelines for opening and closing cash registers each day.
Notifies Supervisor, Store Director and/or Maintenance Associate of any equipment needing repair.
Maintains a safe and clean environment to ensure health code and OSHA requirements are met.
Analyzes customer and associate feedback to identify areas needing improvement and develops processes and/or procedures to address those issues in conjunction with the Store Director.
Performs duties of Customer Service staff as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Works in a non-smoking, normal store environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc.

Stocks, replenishes and rotates merchandise on retail sales floor in accordance with standard operating procedures for the Grocery Department. Provides excellent customer service. Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout the store.
Stocks shelves and displays, and keeps them clean, full and properly rotated at all times; creates displays as necessary.
Keeps aisles clean and clear from slip and trip hazards.
Takes inventory of shelf quantities and pulls from back stock to replenish products on shelves as necessary.
Assists customers in locating products and answers their questions about products.
Bags groceries at Customer Service Department during busy times as requested by management.
Directs graphic designer to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets. Under the direction of the CEO, develops and handles marketing communications for the company including the monthly newsletter, ads, customer e-mails, social media, press releases and employee communication.
Responsible for developing strategies in line with current trends and implementing company/brand marketing plans.
Oversees the design and maintenance of company’s web site.
Creates warm leads and creates marketing funnels to drive sales.
Develops and handles marketing communications for the company including the monthly newsletter, ads, customer e-mails, social media, press releases, and employee newsletter.
Boosts company/product loyalty to our brands, leveraging social media and data analytics.
Ensure deadlines are met with design and preparation of all types of printed material.
Tracks promotional and advertising initiatives.
Coordinates between Marketing Department, Scanning Department and Team Leaders on developing monthly newsletter and store signs.
Receives quotes on projects, places order and is responsible for project completion.
Ensures that prepared printed promotional materials and set up for special events are organizes and completed.
Provides supervision, guidance and leadership to marketing team.
Works with Category Managers on demo and sampling initiatives in Mustard Seed Market and Café stores.
This position is for our Montrose/Fairlawn location
Provides excellent customer service. Performs a variety of duties relating to retail food service including greeting, serving, suggestive selling and limited preparation (garnishing and plating) of hot and cold food. Stocks and replenishes Culinary retail area and maintains sanitation standards. Responsible customer service is a major component of this position.
Greets and serves customers promptly and courteously.
Handles all hot and cold foods appropriately during preparation and service, ensures proper sanitation practices occur continually.
Maintains appropriate portion control and merchandising standards during service.
Maintains post check out area.
Cleans equipment as assigned thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Monitors customer buying trends and makes relevant recommendations to supervisor for product additions and deletions.
Accurately inventories supplies daily and requisitions items needed to meet par levels.
Ensures all food and supplies are stored under proper conditions, covered, labeled, and dated.
Stocks retail area, assists Cooks with display refrigerators and salad bar.
Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively as per standards.
Informs cooks in a timely manner when food quantities are low.
Relays relevant comments from customers directly to supervisor.
Maintains standard operating procedures in accordance with company policy, guidelines and outside licensed and certification authorities.
Education And Experience (E = Essential D = Desired)
