Job Summary
The Merchandising Operations Specialist helps keep merchandising systems running smoothly across the Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Nutrition, and Health & Beauty departments in our store locations. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory, clean item master data, reliable replenishment processes, and consistent promotional execution to support a strong in-stock performance. This is a hands-on, execution-driven position that plays a key part in making sure pricing, ordering, vendor programs, and promotional activity are set up correctly and carried out consistently across stores.
Responsibilities
Manage replenishment ordering in alignment with established SOPs and monitor product movement to identify out-of-stock risks.
Maintain accurate order quantities based on delivery schedules and address service-level issues with distributors.
Update and manage item master data, including pack sizes, costs, vendor information, and APL accuracy.
Prepare, validate, and upload pricing files; support new item and vendor setup through accurate documentation.
