Job Summary

Assists in providing leadership in the Customer Service Department by directing and managing the associates and activities of the Customer Service Department. Ensures excellent customer service to stimulate the growth of the business. Responsibilities include maintaining proper internal controls for all customer financial transactions, managing the Customer Service Desk (refunds, exchanges, product questions, customer complaints, feedback, etc.) and receiving and handling incoming phone calls to the store.

Responsibilities

• Promotes teamwork, coaches, develops and trains department associates; minimizes turnover, promotes efficiency, and controls labor costs.
• Monitors and works with all staff to ensure friendly, accurate and prompt processing of transactions at the registers
• Delegates work assignments effectively.
• Maintains accurate department records to ensure documentation of activities is available. 
• Receives and manages incoming phone calls to the store.
• Assists customers with questions about our products, availability and location of them within the store.
• Receives and forwards customer feedback (comment cards, complaints, suggestions, etc.) to the appropriate department and Store Manager.  
• Ensures front entrance areas and common public areas such as walkways and vestibules are maintained by appropriate personnel so they are clean, neat and safe. 
• Ensures sufficient quantity of grocery carts are available for customers; brings in grocery carts from parking lots as necessary.
• Maintains proper internal controls for all customer financial transactions.  
• Responsible for the balancing and reconciliation of all Cashier tills.
• Verifies and audits cash controls according to established procedures to identify and prevent cash losses.
• Works in conjunction with departments on special orders for customers.
• Works in conjunction with departments in replenishment and merchandising displays in Customer Serivice check stand area.
• Notifies Scanning Department of all scanning issues and concerns.
• Notifies Store Leadership of loss prevention issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follows established protocol and guidelines for opening and closing cash registers each day.
• Notifies Team Leader and/or Maintenance Technician of any equipment needing repair.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment to ensure health code and OSHA requirements are met.
• Analyzes customer and associate feedback to identify areas needing improvement and develops processes and/or procedures to address those issues in conjunction with the Store Manager.
• Performs duties of Customer Service staff as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Are you a dynamic, energetic person who enjoys wearing multiple hats with a focus on customer service? Then this is the role for you! We are hiring for either a Full-time or Part-time associate to join our team! You must have evening and weekend availability with a strong preference for open availability if possible. This role also cross-trains on the cashier position and the barista position within our front of house operations.

Job Summary

Provides excellent customer service to our Café guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes cafe area continually.
• Maintains restrooms and signs off on a restroom checklist hourly. 
• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the dining room and surrounding area before, during, and after business hours.
• Clears tables quickly and quietly and takes dishes and glassware to dish area.
• Resets tables and stocks caddies.
• Ensures guest expectations are met or exceeded.
• Follows directions of Café Supervisor for setting up room(s); moving and setting up tables and chairs, breaking down rooms, and cleaning areas.
• Sets up and tears down stages for weekend and musical entertainment 
• Delivers food and drinks to tables making sure that order is accurate and complete. 
• Maintains and stocks the water station. 
• Pre-bus plates and glassware from all tables. 
• Maintains proper number system and flow within the dining area  
• Assists all guests depending on needs. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Line Cook who has a passion for scratch cooking, experience with vegan, vegetarian, and other diet restrictive dishes, and is comfortable operating in a fast-casual cafe dining setting. Our Line Cook will be expected to prepare, cook, garnish, and plate products served in the Café. They are responsible for maintaining a sanitary kitchen workstation. Good knife skills with well-developed prep, sauté, fry, and grill skills are foundational for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all portion sizes, quality, ingredient standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
• Follows recipe specifications to prepare menu items in accordance with pre-determined costs.

• Cooks all food items by braising, poaching, simmering, boiling, frying, baking, roasting, stir-frying, blanching, or broiling.
