Q: What is Friends of the Seed?
A: Friends of the Seed is our loyalty program! When you join you will earn points to redeem for money off, notifications of special deals, and savings on your groceries.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: There are a few different ways to sign up:
- Sign up online by clicking here.
- Text MSM to 87573
- In-lane using our tablets. If you choose this option, you will be prompted to fill out a form to complete your sign-up on our website.
- Be sure to include your email address.
- It’s easy!
Q: How do I participate?
A: To participate, all you need to do is sign up! You will receive text and email notifications automatically about our deals. Just enter your phone number in the checkout lane to redeem and earn your points.
Q: Does it cost to join?
A: No. It is free to join.
Q: Is Friends of the Seed a points-based program?
A: Yes! You will earn 1 point for every dollar you spend. This excludes gift cards, alcohol, and café purchases.
Q: Do my points ever expire?
A: Yes, points expire on a quarterly basis.

Q: Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?
A: No. You can earn as many as you like within the current quarter!
Q: I didn’t enter my phone number at checkout, is there a way to earn points from that purchase?
A: We are unable to give points for a past transaction. Please remember to enter your phone number at checkout!
Q: Will you share my information?
A: No. We do not share your information with any third parties.
Q: How can I opt-out?
A: If you would like to opt-out of our loyalty program, you can do so in the AppCard app. Visit the Account tab, click Profile, scroll down to choose “I want to delete my account.” Alternatively, you can call one of our Customer Service Departments or Contact Us.
Q: Does this work in the Café?
A: Currently this program is not valid in our Café. However, be on the lookout for coupons and offers that work in our Café separate from Friends of the Seed.
Q: Do I need to carry a card around?
A: No. This is a no-fuss program. You simply just need to enter your phone number at checkout to redeem your coupons and deals. However, if you download the APPCARD app, you can access your digital membership card and show it to your cashier to scan!
Q: What happens if my telephone number changes?
A: We can change phone numbers if your telephone number changes, please contact one of our Customer Service Departments.
